เรื่องราวเริ่มต้นในปี 1982 เมื่อมนุษยชาติตัดสินใจส่งตัวอย่างอารยธรรมของตน รวมไปถึงวีดีโอเกมส์ 8 บิต ไปยังนอกโลก เพื่อผูกสัมพันธ์อันดีกับสิ่งมีชีวิตนอกโลก ที่เชื่อว่า “มีอยู่จริง!!”
จนเมื่อเวลาผ่านไป สิ่งไม่คาดคิดก็เกิดขึ้น เมื่อวีดีโอเกมส์ 8 บิตที่มนุษย์ส่งไป เพื่อแสดงเจตจำนงแห่งสันติ ได้ถูกเอเลี่ยนตีความในทางที่ผิด ก่อเกิดเป็นมหันตภัยร้ายแรงที่เข้ามาโจมตีโลกในแบบที่ไม่คาดฝันมาก่อน เมื่อเหล่าตัวละครจากวีดีโอเกมส์ถูกสร้างขึ้นมาจริงๆ และประกาศสงครามทำลายล้างโลก
Sam has been one of the best arcade gamers of his time. Once in an international tournament NASA sent the video recording of all the games to space for intelligent beings to find and know more about humans. However the aliens interpreted the games as a challenge and began attacking Earth using the video game data.
